Bashō and Fukurō is a blog by Paddy Watson. It documents his 84 days living in Japan through Haiku.
There is a post for each day, with at least one haiku composed about it. Following the haiku there is a description of the day, an event, or an occurrence which generally provides some insight to the poem that precedes it. There will also be short notes regarding the structures and content of the poems, as the form is explored, shaped, obeyed, disobeyed and twisted, as has become commonplace in the world of western and modern haiku.
